Flow of the messages

From the terminal perspective, a successful transaction will always be composed of one single or a sequence of authorization dialogs plus a TransactionResult dialog, where a dialog is a request and a response message. To successfully complete a transaction, the AuthorizationResponse and the TransactionComplete messages both should be successful responses. A single connection between the payment terminal and the CM IPP Payments Platform must be kept open for a transaction.

Point of no return​

When the TRANSACTION_RESULT (0320) is received by the CM IPP Payments Platform the transaction is considered immutable. So the terminal will then receive a TRANSACTION_COMPLETE (03FF) or ABORT (FFFF).
