Problems Faced Post Creating Custom Channel

HubSpot provides two types of authentication: OAuth and Private App-based authentication. OAuth uses the Authorization Code Grant flow, while Private App authentication is based on Client Credentials. For more details, refer to this link.

OAuth with the Authorization Code Grant is not suitable for the system flow in the marketplace configuration, as the access token expires every hour. Therefore, we have opted for Client Credentials-based authentication.

We attempted to use the Private App-based authentication method, where we successfully obtained an access token. However, the issue we encountered is that we cannot add the required scopes for a custom channel, as shown in the screenshot below. To achieve this, an enterprise-level account is required.
